The Drag Race UK queens tightened their tucks this week for the Snatch Game, and the internet was blown away.

Since RuPaul first announced he was bringing Drag Race to UK shores, fans have been clamouring at the bit for a British version of the legendary game show challenge.

Snatch Game is the challenge that separates the wheat from the chaff, and is a highlight of every season.

With the entire history of British culture to mine, the internet could not wait to see who the queens chose.

In news you never thought you’d read, two drag queens – Baga Chipz and Divine De Campo – fought over Margaret Thatcher.

To the confusion of, well, everyone, Sum Ting Wong chose to impersonate David Attenborough over kitchen goddess Nigella Lawson.

Cheryl Hole channeled the other queen of Essex, Gemma Collins.

While Blu Hydrangea turned the air blue giving us Mary Berry on heat.

Having teased Cilla Black and Kim Woodburn, The Vivienne grabbed the competition by its p**** with her uncanny Donald Trump.

Back in the werk room, Blu opened up to Divina about not being able to get married in Northern Ireland. Since the show was recorded, same-sex marriage has finally become legal.

On the main stage, Ru, Michelle and Alan Carr were joined by the Spice Girls’ Geri Halliwell, whose judging split the internet.

Crystal fell into the bottom two, despite her “p**** on fire” weird science look.

She was joined by Sum Ting Wong, whose runway was more lukewarm than ‘Toxic’.

In the end, Sum Ting Wong was asked to sashay away, to the devastation of her die-hard fans.

RuPaul’s Drag Race continues on Thursdays on BBC iPlayer.
