A snippet of a song has been leaked online, and the track is reportedly a collaboration between Eminem and Joyner Lucas called ‘What If I Was Gay’.

The pair previously collaborated on the song ‘Lucky You’ from Eminem’s Kamikaze album in 2018.

In the 13-second clip Joyner Lucas raps: “What if I told you I was out of place/ Wait, what if I told you I was gay?”

Eminem then responds: “What if I’m a hypocrite who’s just afraid to face truth?/Wait, what if I told you I’m gay too?”

Many on social media are bracing themselves as Eminem has come under fire many times for homophobic and transphobic lyrics, and his use of anti-gay slurs. Others believe that the rapper will actually come out as gay or bisexual.

In August, Eminem dropped a new album which included anti-gay attacks on fellow rapper Tyler, The Creator.

Kamikaze album track “Fall” features the lyrics: “Tyler create nothing, I see why you called yourself a faggot, bitch/It’s not just ’cause you like attention.

“It’s ’cause you worship D12’s balls, you’re sac-rilegious/If you’re gonna critique me, you better at least be as good or better.”

Eminem has since admitted the track crossed a line, though he did not actually apologise.

In 2015, he also attacked Caitlyn Jenner, calling her “a bitch” and “Bruce”, in a transphobic freestyle rap.

He previously claimed that his use of slurs such as “dyke” and “faggot” were not actually aimed at the LGBT+ community.

Earlier this month, Elton John revealed that Eminem had given him and his husband David Furnish matching cock rings as a wedding gift.

In an interview with The Guardian, John said: “Eminem bought me and David matching cock rings when we got married. That was his gift. They sit there, like the crown jewels, in this beautiful box on satin cushions.

“They’re wonderful to look at. I don’t know if any guests we’ve had have used them. God, I hope not. They’re kind of sacrosanct. The fact they came from Eminem makes it even better.”
