NCIS: New Orleans Kills Off Original Series Regular – ‘The Show Has Been So Good to Me’

Television

NCIS: New Orleans said goodbye to an original cast member on Tuesday night, and it was quite the tearjerker.

On NCIS: New Orleans Season 6 Episode 6, Special Agent Christopher Lasalle decided it was time to avenge his brother.

To do so, he tracked the drug ring he believed to be responsible for Cade’s murder. The explosive installment, titled “Matthew 5:9,” kicked off with LaSalle being led to the cabin his brother was killed in.

Before getting a moment to grieve, a gunman arrived on the scene, and Lasalle had to spring into action to save the woman who showed him the crime scene.

Lasalle was not about to let the women be shot, so he ran towards the man. In doing so, he was shot multiple times in the abdomen and right arm.

Pride was one of the first people on the scene and prepared to send Lasalle to the best trauma hospital that they could get him to on time.

There was an emergency surgery, which the agent survived. Just when he seemed to be out of the woods, his vitals took a hit, and the monitors started beeping.

It was the end for him. His final words were to his brother, “Let’s go fishing, Cade….”

The hospital staff battled to revive him, but it was too late. Lasalle was pronounced dead as the rest of his team looked on in horror.

Lucas Black was with the show since the pilot aired as an episode of the original NCIS in 2014, so his death is a big deal.

“We had an amazing run with Lucas Black, and he has been such an important part of our NCIS: New Orleans team,” showrunners Christopher Silber and Jan Nash. said in a statement.

“We are sad to see him go, but happy he will have more time to spend with his family.”
