TV Ratings: Supernatural Recovers, Same Time Next Christmas Performs Well

With many shows having already aired their fall finales, it was an up night for some other shows. 

Supernatural Season 15 Episode 7 had 1.1 million total viewers and a 0.3 rating. 

This was the show’s least-watched episode ever, but it was up from last week’s series low 0.2 rating. 

With one episode left this year, Supernatural is ont he move to Mondays in 2020 to finish out its run.

After that, Legacies Season 2 Episode 7 had 857,000 viewers and a 0.3 rating, proving to be one of the steadiest shows on all of TV. 

Are you enjoying the direction the series is going in?

ABC aired its first TV movie in years, with Same Time, Next Christmas averaging 3.7 million viewers and a 0.6 rating across 2 hours. 

This was on par with the average from A Million Little Things and How to Get Away with Murder. 

Would you watch more ABC TV movies, or should they leave that to Hallmark?

A Charlie Brown Christmas had 5 million total viewers and a 1.0 rating in the 8 pm hour. 

Over on CBS, Young Sheldon (8.4 million/1.1 rating) and The Unicorn (5.8 million/0.8 rating) each bounced back from series lows. 

Mom (6 million/0.8 rating), Carol’s Second Act (4.7 million/0.8 rating), and Evil (3.4 million/0.5 rating) were all steady. 

NBC’s Making It took its first hit of the season, slipping to 1.7 million viewers and a 0.4 rating. Don’t expect this show to get a third season. 

Thursday Night Football had 14.1 million viewers and a 3.9 rating, slipping 20 percent.
