Thundercat was the musical guest on last night’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, where he was joined by frequent collaborators Steve Lacy, Flying Lotus, and Steve Arrington for a performance of “Black Qualls.” During the performance, Thundercat and Lacy both wore bejeweled sweaters. “Black Qualls” is from Thundercat’s upcoming LP It Is What It Is, which arrives April 13 via Brainfeeder. The new album also features “Dragonball Durag,” which recently got a goofy music video co-starring HAIM and Kali Uchis.
