After Lea Michele was accused of “making life hell” for Glee co-star Samantha Ware, Drag Race legend Willam claimed he quit the show after she treated him “subhumanly”.

Glee star Lea Michele is facing mounting criticism after a number of actors accused her of bullying them on set.

Samantha Ware, who played Jane in the sixth season, was the first to go public with her allegations, claiming that Michele made her time on the show “a living hell”.

As a number of former cast members showed their support, Willam tweeted that he was once set to appear on Glee, but quit because of Michele’s behaviour.

“Lea treated me so subhuman I left the set of Glee,” he wrote. “Pass the [popcorn].

The Drag Race star is thought to have been on set for the show’s notorious “Lets Have a Kiki” scene.

Back in October 2012 Willam tweeted that he’d “booked Glee“, just over a month before said episode aired. He wasn’t ever credited on the musical series, (according to IMDb) but eagle-eyed fans say he can be spotted in season four’s “Thanksgiving”.

Lea Michele faces backlash from Black actors after sharing Black Lives Matter message.

Willam’s claims against Lea Michele came after a number of former Glee stars piled on criticism of her.

Samantha Ware shared her story after Michele tweeted a Black Lives Matter message.

“LMAO REMEMBER WHEN YOU MADE MY FIRST TELEVISION GIG A LIVING HELL?!?!” Ware wrote.

“CAUSE I’LL NEVER FORGET.”

Ware alleged that Michele “told everyone that if you had the opportunity, you would s**t in my wig”.

Alex Newell backed Ware with a GIF, and later explained: “When my friends goes through something traumatic I also go through it… that’s what friendship is… and if you can’t understand that then you’re part of the problem… and that’s on PERIODT!

“And I mean that for both sides of this coin!”

Dabier joined in, claiming Michele “wouldn’t let me sit at the table with the other cast members ‘case ‘I didn’t belong there’.”

“Ain’t going stand for her being fake like she care,” Dabier added.

Amber Riley showed her support for her former castmates by replying with a GIF of herself sipping tea.

She later drew a line under the row, tweeting: “Let’s move on, ” with the hashtags #Defundthepolice #prosecutekillercops and #BlackLivesMatter.

PinkNews has contacted Willam’s and Lea Michele’s representatives for comment.
