Bat for Lashes Releases Cover of the Carpenters’ “We’ve Only Just Begun”: Listen

Bat for Lashes has released a cover of the Carpenters’ “We’ve Only Just Begun.” The singer has previously covered the song in concert, but the new track marks her first proper studio recording of the classic song. According to a social media post, Natasha Khan recorded her vocals and the piano in Los Angeles amid lockdown; the strings are arranged by Hugh Brunt and performed by the London Contemporary Orchestra.
