Foo Fighters performed their song “Times Like These” during a primetime “Celebrating America” special in honor of Joe Biden’s inauguration as the 46th President of the United States. Prior to the performance, Grohl gave a quick speech about teachers including Dr. Jill Biden and his mother Virginia Grohl. It’s a performance that starts quietly, but picks up. Watch it happen below.
Foo Fighters have released three songs since announcing their forthcoming LP Medicine at Midnight. They released “No Son of Mine” and “Waiting on a War” earlier this month, and “Shame Shame” debuted on SNL in November. Other performers during the Inauguration Day celebrations included Bruce Springsteen, Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, and others. The album is due out February 5.
