Bling Empire’s and Power Ranger, Andrew Gray, is addressing his volatile behavior on the show, which often manifested toward his girlfriend, Kelly Mi Li. Fans were uncomfortable with his attitude and felt he should have been let go by the streaming network. Although he broke up with Kelly during the debut season, the two have since reconciled.

It is not a giant leap to say that Gray is the least-liked cast member on the Bling Empire due to his extreme mood swings. His relationship with Kelly has left many viewers uncomfortable at the sight of him. The couple’s relations seemed like a toxic infinity circle with no end in sight. While Bling Empire is one of Netflix’s most successful reality show, fans are worried about who they may be promoting. Gray recently sat down to chat with the Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef podcast and opened up about his behavior. While getting to know the host, he revealed that he was a Cali kid who was I’m indigenous to this land.” The first glimpse that fans got of a reason for his erratic behavior was when he spoke about how his father had taught him to be tough.

Gray revealed that “I knew I was gonna be the villain from day one. And I’m okay with it. Because number one, valid excusing behavior. I realized I still have more work to do in therapy at the same time.” Fans have been traumatized by his aggressive and controlling behavior toward Kelly, but Gray brushed the hate away, saying, “They can defame me around the world, but it’s all right, but I’m going to do the work. So I don’t want to excuse that behavior where I fell short. I want to show the work. And I hope that really helps heal.” The red power ranger explained that when fans watched him freak out, it was because he was genuinely upset in the moment. The villain did admit he had a problem that he just didn’t know how to fix

On top of his lackluster apology, Gray also spilled the beans that Kelly was the one to pitch the idea for the show to Jeff Jenkins, and the pilot was filmed three years ago. The process was super easy as they assembled the cast in one go. None of the cast knew one another, but they made it work. Netflix fans are hoping for another season of Bling Empire soon.
