“Solar Opposites” is ready to crash-land (again) on Hulu with a second season now set to stream on March 26, 2021.
While a sci-fi series, at times, the animated show dabbles in horror and, on occasion, splatters an infinite amount of gore across the screen. There are also countless tributes to horror classics such as James Cameron’s masterpiece Aliens, which is at the centerpiece of the second season’s third episode.
Check out the above photo from “The Lake House Device”, in which Yumyulack (Sean Giambrone) hangs a poster of Sigourney Weaver as Ripley in Aliens in his school locker.
“Sigourney Weaver is your perfect Earth babe?” asks his sister, Jesse (Mary Mack). Weaver is an intricate part of the episode and maybe even makes an appearance?
