It’s not uncommon for networks to send swag to the stars of their shows, and Deleesa Carrasquillo received a box of gifts for appearing on The Circle. The first episodes of the second season of Netflix’s popular show The Circle have arrived to eager fans, and the streaming service is sharing the love with the cast of season 2. Deleesa was so excited with her box of goodies that she showed it off to her Instagram followers, who now know some of the perks of going on a Netflix show.
The sassy and hilarious mom from the Bronx is masquerading as her husband Trevor and is catfishing the other Circle members into thinking she’s a single dad. Her strategy has worked well so far, and Deleesa has gotten sympathy from the other players who think she’s a solo #girldad. “Trevor” managed to bond early with Savannah when she was an influencer, and avoided getting blocked in the first round. Deleesa is a convincing catfish and shows a lot of potential in the game.

Deleesa shared a series of clips of her going through the fancy box of swag that Netflix sent her. “Ahhhh I love you @Netflix thank you so much!” she commented on her Instagram Stories. The box contained several snacks and drinks that would be perfect for a Circle viewing party. There was a bag of kettle popcorn, an extra-sparkly bottle of champagne, and some seriously luxe chocolate bars. Clearly Netflix was as happy with Deleesa’s time on The Circle as viewers are.
Fans are loving the “MILF playing a DILF,” as Deleesa demonstrates a level of both insight and strategy that few others in the competition have mastered. Deleesa is also the most convincing of all the catfishes this season. River, Emily, and Lance Bass are the other catfishes this season, but they’ve all raised multiple eyebrows among fellow cast members. “Trevor” has surpassed them all in believability, to the point where Chloe is actively trying to flirt with “him.” Perhaps it’s because Deleesa has such solid real-life inspiration for her catfish character than the others.
Only the first four episodes of The Circle season 2, and it’s already delivered some shocking surprises and twists. The season 2 cast has several promising players, but Deleesa is one of the most entertaining and strategic in the game. It’s great to see that Deleesa is getting the most out of her time on the show, and is being so appreciative. Netflix is right to extend their love to the vibrant catfish, because Deleesa is poised to become a fan favorite.
