Review: The RoseCrumbs “Sunflower”
Music

The RoseCrumbs “Sunflower” alt-pop, garage infused debut is creating an industrial buzz all over the place. The song features young artist Devon Gordon, (the brains behind The RoseCrumbs), and internationally, world-renowned drummer Stephen Perkins from Jane’s Addiction. The track is fun, like a very cool sophisticated party.

Devon Gordon is a classically trained pianist, spawned from a musical family and a self-taught multi-instrumentalist. She is also an accomplished artist who has had her work displayed in art galleries and museums. Gordon also publishes her own magazine where she collects interviews and reviews art students.

The song is unique and unusually fascinating with an addictive trance and an intriguing vocal underground tone. The RoseCrumbs have an edgy flavor filled by 70’s/80’s influences with hints of an industrial progressiveness. “Sunflower” is a proud showing for a debut single and I look forward to see what’s next for The RoseCrumbs…..Hats off to Devon Gordon for a noble and successful celebrated entrance into the music industry .
