Fortnite: How to Unlock New Superman Skin (Season 7)

Movies

Superman is one of the crossover characters joining the fight against the alien invaders in Fortnite Season 7, but players will need to wait a few weeks before his cosmetics set becomes available. Fortnite has already introduced many characters from the DC universe to the popular Battle Royale, including Batman, the Joker, Harley Quinn, and the Flash. Owners of the Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 Battle Pass will have access to the Man of Steel’s outfits and cosmetics, but only after several weeks of play. Unlike some of the other Battle Pass rewards, Superman is date-locked and not yet available to unlock.

The Superman skin resembles the Tony Stark skin from Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4. Clark Kent is the basic style, and a built-in emote will allow the player to transform into Superman. There are also several alternate styles to unlock. Like the other Battle Pass Rewards in Fortnite Season 7, once the skin and other cosmetics become available, players will need to collect and use Battle Stars to unlock them. Here’s how players can get their hands on the Superman skin in Fortnite Season 7.

How to Get the Superman Skin in Fortnite Season 7

The Superman skin in Fortnite Season 6

To unlock the Superman skin in Fortnite Season 7, players must first purchase a Season 7 Battle Pass. The Battle Pass operates a little differently in Season 7 than in previous seasons, but it still costs the same at 950 V-Bucks. There are many rewards to unlock this season, and some of the most highly anticipated rewards, including a Rick Sanchez skin and the Superman skin, require the Battle Pass.

The Superman skin in Fortnite is locked behind a date countdown for 65 days from the launch of Season 7. Players will have to wait until at least August 12 for the Superman reward page to become available. Once it does, like other cosmetic rewards this season, players can unlock the items in any order using Battle Stars. Each time a player levels up, they will receive 5 Battle Stars. They can save up, or they can spend these right away on any of the available rewards. As they unlock more rewards, more pages of exclusive items become available.

There are 11 total items for players to unlock with the Superman skin. In addition to the Clark Kent style, players can unlock the Superman’s Cape Back Bling that also serves as a Glider, the Daily Planet Back Bling, the Solitude Striker pickaxe, and some emotes, loading screens, and sprays. They can also unlock the alternate Shadow Style, similar to his costume in Zack Snyder’s Justice League.

While prices for each have not yet been revealed, it is likely the Superman items cost around the same amount as other Fortnite Season 7 Battle Pass rewards. This means banners, sprays, and loading screens may cost around 3 or 4 Battle Stars, the Back Bling, emotes, and gliders around 5 to 7 Battle Stars, and the skins around 8 to 10 Battle Stars.
