I’m a sucker for a game with Kajiu in it. I even have a soft spot for that PS4 Godzilla brawler that wasn’t particularly good, but let you be King Fucking Ghidorah and trash a city. First revealed at the PC Gaming Show at E3 2021, GigaBash looks like the multiplayer bootleg of that game in a way but is probably going to be a much better game.
Passion Republic Games (what a good name for a dev team) is a Malaysian developer that has a clear love of the age-old art of giant monsters smacking other giant monsters with skyscrapers. GigaBash has a colorful, playful Smash Bros vibe to it, but is unmistakably just as inspired by Rampage as well.
Watch the trailer below to get an idea of what this destructive multiplayer title brings to the table.
GigaBash is presented as if it was some lost arcade game, and each of its Kajiu is pretty nimble as a result. Up to four players will be able to raze entire cities in the name of good old-fashioned fun when GigaBash comes out for PC at some as yet undisclosed point in the future on PC.
