After years of feuding, Selling Sunset stars Chrishell Stause and Christine Quinn are showing signs of rekindling their friendship. Chrishell recently highlighted her colleagues at the Oppenheim Group for International Women’s Day. Despite their rocky history, Chrishell made sure to include Christine in the shout-out. Now that more time has passed, it looks like the two frenemies are getting back on amicable terms.
Chrishell and Christine didn’t hit it off when they first met. After Chrishell joined the Oppenheim Group, Christine made it her duty to give the newbie a hard time. Luckily for Chrishell, Mary Fitzgerald and Heather Rae Young didn’t want to play Christine’s mean girl game and eventually warmed up to Chrishell. By the season 2 finale, Christine left Chrishell in tears after berating her at a party. In season 3, Chrishell found it in herself to still attend Christine’s wedding despite the hurtful things Christine had said and the fact that Chrishell was going through a divorce from This is Us star Justin Hartley. But in season 4, Chrishell kept her distance from Christine after catching wind of more shady remarks made behind her back.
However, after years of ups and downs, Chrishell and Christine appear to be working on their friendship. Chrishell recently highlighted the ladies at the Oppenheim Group in a heartfelt post in honor of International Women’s Day. “Constantly inspired by so many women in my life,” Chrishell shared in the caption. “You guys have come to know a few of them from #SellingSunset but to all of the others-you know who you are!” Chrishell made sure to tag all of her co-stars to the post including Christine.
Fans were quick to notice the possibility of a reconciliation between the two Netflix stars. “Nice gesture tagging Christine,” one fan wrote. “Uff tagging Christine! ❤️ hope u two have mended things,” added another. “Umm is that Christine tagged 👀👀!!! I hope you guys made up,” said one onlooker. Chrishell and Christine were noticeably not following each other during the height of their feud. After season 4 aired, Chrishell revealed why she refused to film with Christine claiming her frenemy made some pretty defamatory statements about her in an interview. Chrishell admitted to considering a lawsuit against Christine.
During the time Chrishell dated Oppenheim Group boss Jason Oppenheim, Christine threw shade at the couple saying she didn’t know if their relationship was genuine or not. It was only one of many snide comments Christine has made about Chrishell over the years. While Christine was tagged to Chrishell’s recent post, she didn’t return the warm gesture by liking it. Selling Sunset fans are still applauding Chrishell for being the bigger person and seemingly extending an olive branch. Maybe viewers will get to see the two ladies attempt to work out their differences in season 5.
