‘Buddy Simulator 1984’ Wants to Play on the Nintendo Switch This Week [Trailer]

Horror

It’s been a long time coming, but Airdorf’s Chapter III of FAITH: The Unholy Trinity is out today. The conclusion to the trilogy brings with it a 10% discount for the game, as well as new goodies for those who purchase it.

Airdorf laid out the release of FAITH yesterday for fans with an FAQ, detailing the time of the game’s launch, its discount, as well including a new Mortis edition that includes the game’s throwback 8-bit soundtrack. You can also purchase the soundtrack separately.

Players who have completed the previous two chapters in FAITH: The Unholy Trinity can jump right to Chapter III if they so choose, or go back and play through it all again in the game’s Marathon Mode. And if you’re curious about the length of Chapter III, Airdorf states that it’s about “twice as long” as Chapter II.

And yes, if you’re still on the fence about playing the game (though we don’t know why), you can still download the demo for FAITH.

FAITH: The Unholy Trinity is a pixel-based action adventure game inspired by classic Atari games and the “Satanic Scare” of the 1980s. Featuring some very creepy rotoscoped cutscenes, the game takes place appropriate in the 80s, when on September 21, 1986, two priests arrived at the Martin Family home in rural Connecticut to investigate an apparent case of demonic possession. Only two people would leave the house alive.

Chapter III of FAITH: The Unholy Trinity sees the young priest from the previous chapters aided by a mysterious stranger as he travels the dark countryside to stop a Satanic cult from summoning a horrifically powerful demon.
