Countless RoboCop action figures have been released over the years, but NECA is taking a different approach with their next one. It’s not a RoboCop figure, it’s an Alex Murphy figure!
Depicting Peter Weller BEFORE he was reborn as RoboCop, NECA’s latest RoboCop figure is on display at San Diego Comic-Con this week, and Toyark snapped some photos.
The upcoming action figure is based on Alex Murphy’s shockingly gruesome murder in the original classic, featuring alternate heads and even battle-damaged gore effects.
An alternate chest piece is riddled with bullet wounds, for starters, while an alternate half-arm allows you to recreate Alex Murphy’s bloody demise from the movie.
As far as action figures go, this one is a bloody mess. And we love it.
