At the creative helm of Supreme, Mr Brendon Babenzien redefined the notion of hype, creating a near-legendary skatewear brand with an army of frenzied fans and high-profile collaborations (Nike, Vans, Timberland and Clarks, to name a few) under its belt.

Having parted ways with the streetwear juggernaut in 2015, Babenzien is now using his experience to drive his own hype-worthy sneaker label.

Aprix, which debuted in 2007 before taking a backseat to the designer’s Noah clothing brand, has returned with a two-part drop that focuses on American skate shoes.

The first style boasts a canvas upper with a two-tone suede toe box and non-slip Margom sole, while the second is a cleaner tennis shape with an all suede and all canvas upper. Despite only offering two styles, there are a range of colourways including sleek pastels and minimal monochrome hues.

Get in line. Because, we assume that’s how this one is going to go, too.

Aprix trainers are currently available exclusively at the Noah store in New York, but will launch globally at Dover Street Market and Mr Porter from January 2017.
