The Dawson’s Creek star—who is dad to Juno, 5, with now ex-wife Jodie Turner-Smith—and theWet Hot American Summer actress were joined by other celebrity announcers including Alex Cooper, The Goo Goo Dolls, T.J. Oshie, Jerry Bruckheimer, Charles Barkley, Isaiah Mustafa and more, who announced the other teams’ draft picks.

Earlier in the day, the pair walked the NHL Draft red carpet in matching Anaheim Ducks jerseys, smiling and waving to excited fans. While on the carpet, both Josh and Marguerite had the chance to share what the special moment meant to them.

“It means that I get to, having earned none of this,” Josh said in a video posted to the Anaheim Ducks’ Instagram, “Be a part of some young man’s dream coming true, which is awesome.”

He then joked, “I think when I was 13, I thought I’d be getting my name called, but if this is as close as I get I’m good with that.”

Marguerite echoed his sentiment, saying she felt touched to be a part of such a special moment.

“I feel absolutely honored to represent the Ducks,” she shared. “The Ducks community, Orange County, or should I say Orange Country?”

And she also loved that she was loving getting to be back with the hockey community and learning more about all that the draft entails, adding, “I feel like I’m getting another window into a super special part of this sport.”
