US pop icon to headline Pride in London 2025 as full line-up announced

Pride in London 2025 has a colourful line-up, with highlights including Eurovision’sMiriana Conte, R&B sensationAmaria BB, and a headline performance from American music legend Chaka Khan.

Taking place on Saturday 5 July, the Pride in London parade will run from Hyde Park Corner through Piccadilly Circus, down Haymarket and along Cockspur Street to Trafalgar Square, culminating at Whitehall Place. The parade will start at midday and finish at 6pm.

The campaign for 2025 is “Volunqueer” in tribute to the volunteering that has been core to the LGBTQ+ movement.IIt encourages people to give whatever they can — time, skills, or resources — to LGBTQ+ charities and organisations, while also shining a spotlight on community heroes who have undertaken selfless acts in service of their communities.

Pride in London director of marketing Tim Noblett said: “Volunqueering doesn’t need to be a grand undertaking or a massive gesture – even the smallest step can help enact meaningful change.

“As the UK’s status as a safe space for LGBTQ+ people comes increasingly into question, this campaign is a reminder of the resilience that lies at the heart of our community.”

Ensuring that Pride remains a celebration, performers will entertain protesters across five themed stages — plus a dedicated family stage in the Family and Youth Area at Victoria Embankment Gardens. Here’s an overview of what’s on and where.

Trafalgar Square

Pride in London’s iconic Trafalgar Stage will feature ten-time Grammy winner Chaka Khan as its headline act. The musical legend will perform hits including “I’m Every Woman,” “Ain’t Nobody,” and “I Feel for You,” and her performance will mark 53 years of Pride events.

Other performancers set to grace the stage include Queenz, Grammy nominee Durand Bernarr, Eurovision 2025 winner JJ, drag superstar La Voix, Eurovision’s Miriana Conte, Jay Jay Revlon and HERE AND NOW – The Steps Musical, to name a few.

Lucky Roy Singh presents the Queer Asian Takeover, along with performances by Dylan and the Moon, The Sing Space Choir, Justin Peng, The Cocoa Butter Club, Anthony Hughes, Butch, Please!, and Dan Devlin — all ensuring that Pride 2025 is a true celebration.

Meanwhile, talks from Queerwell, Stonewall, Jake and Hannah Graf, and Not a Phase will inspire protesters to continue the fight for equality.

The stage will be hosted by Will Njobvu and Asifa Lahore, as well as by guest hosts including Frankie Grande, Titanique’s Lauren Drew, and Hedwig and the Angry Inch creator John Cameron Mitchell.

Leicester Square

The Leicester Square stage is set to be a haven for LGBTQ+ women and non-binary individuals.

Performers set to entertain from the Leicester Square stage include girli, Miriana Conte, Chloe Star, Redrum, Butch, Please!, Lazy Violet, Queer Edge, Don One and Smashlyn Monroe, and DJ’s Kaylee Golding, Anita B Queen,CATTY, MABE.

The stage will be hosted again by Char Bailey and Sade Giliberti, with speakers including Megan Jayne Crabbe, Fia Tarrant, Soraya Vivian and Queer Edge.

Dean Street

Dean Street will be Pride in London’s Cabaret stage –hosted by hosted by Crip Ladywood & Sam Buttery –the stage will feature performers and speakers including Ghetto Fabulous, Lucky Roy Singh Presents the Queer Asian Takeover, Dean McCullough’s Pop Machine, La Voix, John Cameron Mitchell, Coco Deville, West End’s The Producers star and acclaimed cabaret performer Trevor Ashley, Viola, Sam Buttery, Adam All & Apple Derrieres, Alexandria St Payne, Skylar Cister and Crip Ladywood.

Soho Square

The all-important Soho Square Stage, curated by Mzz Kimberley, will celebrate the trans community amid a time of hardship globally.

Acts include Telisa, Geri Love, Tobre, trans fashion by Ms A London Bok, Brandy X Presents Temptation, Kit Green, Ebony Rose Dark, The Others, The DIVAs with Alexa Vox, Alexis Gregory with Jane Stevenson, The Divine and Andrea Di Giovanni, DJs include DJ Tasty Tim, DJ Princess Julia and DJ Kaspa, and speakers include Sarah Savage (Brighton Trans Pride), Alexis Solia (trans Activist), Saba (activist), Kayza Rose (Activist/producer), Lia B (trans Activist), Pippa Dale (LBTQWomen and StockExchange), Daniel Lismore (Artist), Arlene McDermott (StockExchange/Trans In The City), Bell Ribeiro-Addy (MP), Trans Legal, Omar Okai (Black British Theatre Awards), Oscar Davies (the UK’s first recognised non-binary barrister) and Jake and Hannah Graf (Trans is Human). Hosts will include Ash Palmisciano (Emmerdale), Winn (Kinky Gerlinky) and Tequila Thirst (performer).


Golden Square

This year’s World Stage –hosted by Myles Hart and Thandi Phoenix – will showcase performances and talks from UK R&B sensation Amaria BB, Keanan, Vanity Milan, rapper Carter the Bandit, DJ Mark-Ashley Dupé, Nile, The Cocoa Butter Club, Reptile B, Lexxicon, Jay Jay Revlon, Don One, Thandi Phoenix, Kelechi, JiGH, and DJ Shafire. The stage will be hosted by Myles Hart and Thandi Phoenix.
