An unofficial Roblox RuPaul’s Drag Race horror game is taking lip-syncing for your life to the next level.
The upcoming game will feature an unofficial rendition of RuPaul, who will chase the player through the iconic Drag Race set.
Developed by Roblox gaming group, Sacrificing Productions, a clip of the game was shared to TikTok on Thursday (7 August), with developers saying the untitled project is “coming soon.”
The small studio, which has only created one experience on Roblox before the announcement, teased the game’s existence earlier this week with a TikTok post reading: “New Roblox horror game in the works.”
While not much is known about the project at the time of reporting, posts from Sacrificing Productions suggest it will take place during a “night shift” in the werk room; the studio which sees contestants create their drag looks.
The follow-up clip showcases early development footage and features a 12-foot-tall RuPaul in platform heels sprinting after the player as they try to escape the Drag Race set.
Fans are already hooked, with users in the comments of the clip begging developers to add RuPaul’s iconic laugh as a sound clip in the game.
“Only if RuPaul yells ‘NO H&M‘ then y’all can release,” one user joked. Another said: “Omg I was lowkey manifesting a RuPaul horror game.”
The clip even got some attention from former RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Queen Tia Kofi, who responded to the video saying: “I felt this to my core.”
No release date or further details have been provided for the project, which will reportedly be published on Roblox as a free experience.
Developers also suggested the game would be multiplayer, urging users to “tag the friends you’ll play this with.”
For those wanting an interactive RuPaul’s Drag Race experience without the nightmares, the brand has an official title, RuPaul’s Drag Race Superstar – a mobile-based idle game allowing players to “werk your way to be the top fashion designer and become a superstar stylist.”
Players can also simulate their own fictional Drag Race season through the unofficial Drag Race Simulator which allows fans to create their own drag artist, set their premiere format, the type of season, and their finale format.
