Drag Race Down Under star Freya Armani would ‘love’ a Werk Room redo (World of Wonder)
RuPaul’s Drag Race is no stranger to an All Stars season –and this international finalist has just staked her claim to ruturn to the Werk Room for round two.
With seventeen flagship seasons, ten All Stars (including an All Winners version, charity non-elimination season and the recent ‘Tournament’ format), several vs. the World spinoffs, Global All Stars and a Slaysian Royale on top, it feels like more queens have been in the Werk Room at least twice, than haven’t.
Still, though, there are plenty of queens (mainly international divas) who haven’t had the chance for a second go at the crown.
One of those such divas is Drag Race Down Under season four finalist, Freya Armani, who has thrown her wig in the ring to get back on that Main Stage.
“Dear World of Wonder [Drag Race‘s production company], I’d love to return to Drag Race, give ya girl a call,” she posted to X (8 Aug) above a gif of herself in her finale runway.

Freya’s post was in response to All Stars 9 winner Angeria Paris VanMicheals pitching for a position as a guest judge spot on an international version of the franchise.
During her time on Drag Race Down Under‘s fourth season – the first to be hosted by Michelle Visage – Freya didn’t manage to snatch a challenge win, but still made it all the way to the final episode. She placed high in the final three episodes of the season, and only lipsynced once.
So far, only a few Down Under divas have had the chance to return for a second go at getting the crown. The first Canada vs. the World season saw Anita Wig’lit eliminated in seventh place, and UK vs. the World season two included Hannah Conda making it all the way to the final lipsync.
And, of course, Kween Kong represented Down Under on the (controversial) Global All Stars.
So could Freya Armani be the next to wave the flag for Australasia?
If she is, it won’t be on the upcoming All Stars 11 or UK vs. the World‘s third season – according to their rumoured casts, anyway.
Drag Race Philippines: Slaysian Royale is set to have some Down Under representation, though, with season three’s Ivory Glaze headed for the Werk Room alongside other Asian drag performers from across the Drag Race multiverse.
