Jonathan Bailey has thrown himself whole-heartedly into his latest charitable partnership.
The actor recently starred as Dr Henry Loomis in Jurassic World: Rebirth and since the first images of him in the role emerged, fans have been drawn to the character’s “slutty little glasses”. The obsession became so apparent that Bailey joined in and began using the accessories to promote the film.
And in June, the star unveiled a collaboration between charitable organisation The Shameless Fund and the eyewear brand, Cubitts, who provided the glasses.
Set uplast year, the charity aims “to use brand collaborations to raise money to support LGBTQ+ rights and organisations”.
Over the past few days, Bailey and the charity have been sharing images of celebrities such as Cara Delevingne and Kylie, sporting the “Loomis” glasses.
And on Monday (25 August), Bailey posted an image of himself wearing the pink-lensed glasses – but this time, he opted for a shirtless picture of himself in an arid-looking setting. The backdrop looked dry, and the comments have been thirsty.
One person urged: “A little warning next time,” while another wrote: “My eyes are blessed.” And those are just the safe-for-work comments.
Last week, Cubitts announced that there will be a second andfinal dropof the Loomis glasses. An additional 1,000 pairs have been released for pre-order after the first lot sold out. Fifty per cent of net profits from every pair will be donated to The Shameless Fund.
