Mike Flanagan is headed to San Diego Comic-Con later this month, and Prime Video is teasing this afternoon that he’ll be showing off a first look at his “Carrie” television series.
Prime Video today announced its 2026 San Diego Comic-Con lineup with “beloved returning series including The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of PowerandBatman: Caped Crusader, with ReacherandNeagleyjoining forces for their SDCC debut, and iconic IP reimagined withCarrieandBlade Runner 2099 taking the stage.”
The special first look “Carrie” panel will be taking place on Saturday, July 25 from 4:45pm – 5:45pmin Ballroom 20, and it’s titled “Meet the New Class of Carrie.”

The eight-episode limited series is expected to premiere on Prime Video this year.
Mike Flanagan’s “Carrie” follows misfit high-schooler Carrie White, who has spent her life in seclusion with her domineering mother. After her father’s sudden and untimely death, Carrie finds herself contending with the alien landscape of public high school, a bullying scandal that shatters her community, and the emergence of mysterious telekinetic powers.
Mike Flanagan serves as writer and showrunner in addition to directing select episodes of the eight-part series. Amazon MGM Studios produces.
