Juice WRLD died at the age of 21 in December 2019. His death was ruled as an accidental overdose of Oxycodone and codeine toxicity. Following Juice WRLD’s death, Drake, Chance the Rapper, Lil Uzi Vert, Meek Mill, the Weeknd, Lil Yachty, Lil Peep’s estate, Juicy J, and countless other artists paid tribute to the late rapper, writing words of remembrance on social media.

In addition to Juice WRLD’s posthumous solo singles, a number of artists have released music featuring pre-recorded vocal tracks from the rapper. In February, G Herbo dropped his song “PTSD,” featuring Chance the Rapper, Lil Uzi Vert, and Juice WRLD. The following month, Eminem shared a visual for his Music to Be Murdered By track “Godzilla,” which features a tribute to Juice WRLD, who guests on the song. Anuel AA released “No Me Ame,” his joint track with Juice WRLD and Rvssian, back in April. More recently, 16-year-old rapper the Kid LAROI shared a song called “GO,” featuring Juice WRLD. Its accompanying video featured footage of the late rapper.

Legends Never Die marks Juice WRLD’s third solo studio album. He released two solo LPs in his lifetime: 2018’s Goodbye & Good Riddance and last year’s Death Race for Love. He also collaborated with Future on WRLD on Drugs, which arrived in late 2018.
