For the next week, Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is free to play on Steam. This limited time release is the perfect chance for Warhammer fans to check out the latest edition to the Warhammer universe with three of their closest friends.
Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is a Left 4 Dead 2-esque co-op first person combat game, where players team up to complete campaign missions and slay hordes of rat-like enemies with medieval weaponry. Players pick from a number of customizable warriors to take on the Skaven, Norsca, Beastmen, and Chaos, all of which are playable species or races from the Warhammer universe. Players can level up their characters by taking down enemies and finishing tasks together, picking specializations and skills from an extensive list of options.

Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is currently available to download on Steam, with the game disappearing from free players’ Steam game library after the free week. Players who have the DLC can play the extra content with friends who do not during this period as well, as long as one team member has purchased the DLC, the entire party can participate. For the length of the demo, Steam is also running a massive sale, discounting Vermintide 2 by 75 percent.
