In order to find Azhdaha, the player will need to complete the Historia Antiqua Chapter: Act II – No Mere Stones quest. This quest is directly attached to Zhongli and his backstory. Once the player completes this quest, they will be able to participate in this Weekly boss battle. Players will then be to head do Nantianmen to find a large tree that has sealed away Azhdaha. Inside is a Domain called “Beneath the Dragon-Qualler” that players can participate in. It’s important to prepare for this battle to make it easier to win. Before heading inside, try to bring a character with shields. This includes Zhongli, Noelle, or Diona. Alternatively, make sure to bring along a healer to help keep the team alive. Here is how players can defeat Azhzaha in Genshin Impact.
How To Beat Azhdaha in Genshin Impact
This fight is broken down into three different phases. Here is what players can do to progress in this battle.
- Phase 1: Rocks will fall from the sky. Avoid them by walking around. Try to maintain your stamina since it’s a valuable resource for this battle. It will also shoot a homing attack if you go too far so keep that in mind. Continue to attack it until it transitions into the next phase.
- Phase 2: Switching up its attacks to do Hydro damage. This is where the shields will come in clutch since they will negate the stats ailments that come from it. Continue to attack and it will do a massive earthquake attack to jump into its final phase.
- Phase 3: Now it will switch to Electro attacks. Similar to phase 1, the attacks will be shown on the floor to show where to avoid. It will also charge towards the player if they get too far. Maintain your distance and bring it down.
This fight can be done once a week. After the first attempt, it won’t be too hard in the future. Just keep at it for those level-up materials.
Genshin Impact is available now on PC, Mobile, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4.
