Arcade Fire have announced details of a huge world tour – and tickets go on sale soon.

The band will headline arena dates across the UK, Europe and North America between August and December.

Fans can get their hands on tickets from 10am on 13 May via ticketmaster.co.uk and ticketmaster.com.

It’ll be in support of the group’s sixth studio album WE, which was released on 6 May.

The album features the singles “The Lightning I, II” and “Unconditional I (Lookout Kid)”, which received rave reviews from fans and critics.

It marked their first album in five years and they recently played tracks for the first time live at Coachella and at a sold-out, intimate London show.

This included album tracks “Age of Anxiety I” and “End of the Empire I-III”.

The tour will start in Dublin on 30 August, with a date at 3Arena, before heading to London, Paris, Berlin and North America, finishing up in Toronto on 1 December.

When do tickets go on sale?

They go on general sale at 10am local time on 13 May.

UK fans can get tickets from ticketmaster.co.uk. If you’re an O2 customer you can access the priority sale from 10am on 11 May via priority.o2.co.uk/tickets, just use your O2 mobile number to sign up or log in.

A Live Nation presale takes place from 10am on 12 May via livenation.co.uk. To access this sign up or sign in to Live Nation for free and head to the Arcade Fire page.

While North American fans can get tickets from ticketmaster.com.
