Madonna has released a 3D model of her vagina giving birth to a flowering tree, butterflies and robotic centipede as NFT art.

The singer is auctioning off three one-minute-long NFTs which show her rendered in 3D, completely nude, giving birth to flora, fauna and robots.

“Mother of Nature” features a close-up of Madonna’s animated vagina. Branches begin to poke out before blossoming into a full tree. Madonna’s disembodied voice says: “My journey through life as a woman is like that of a tree.

“Starting from a small seed, always pushing against the resistance of the Earth, the endless weight of gravity.”

Butterflies fly out of Madonna as she’s sat on a vehicle in a crumbling city in the second animation, “Mother of Evolution”. The third NFT, “Mother of Technology”, sees a swarm of centipedes crawl out of Madonna as she lays in a lush forest.

The digital triptych was created with digital artist Michael Winkelmann, known as Beeple, and is being auctioned off for charity on NFT marketplace SuperRare

The “Vogue” hitmaker said she sought to explore concepts such as creation and motherhood through the artworks.

“When Mile and I decided to collaborate on this project a year ago, I was excited to have the opportunity to share my vision of the world as a mother and an artist,” Madonna said in a statement.

“It’s been an amazing journey building this together from an intellectual idea to an emotional story, giving birth to art.

“I wanted to investigate the concept of creation, not only the way a child enters the world through a woman’s vagina but also the way an artist gives birth to creativity.”

“This is such absolute, insane horror,” said Winkelmann.

“I don’t do many collaborations. This is probably the only one I will do for a very long time.”

Twitter users really weren’t sure what to make of Madonna’s NFT art

Some said they expected nothing else from the “queen” while others responded to the artworks with ridicule.

NFTs (non-fungible tokens) are unique digital tokens which, in this case, prove that a person owns an “original” artwork.

They have become highly collectible, with an NFT of Beeple’s previously selling fro $69 million (£56.5 million).

Proceeds from Madonna’s NFT art will benefit three charities: the Voices of Children Foundation, which supports those affected by the war in Ukraine, the City of Joy Foundation, which aids survivors of violence in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Black Mama’s Bail Out, a non-profit that provides bail funds for imprisoned caregivers.

Each can be bid on using Ethereum, a digital currency current worth $2365.11.
