Caitlyn Jenner has called the LGBTQ+ community ‘intolerant’ after joining the right-wing pile on against trans TikTokker Dylan Mulvaney.

The Olympian and ex-spouse of Kris Jenner commented on a video of Mulvaney meeting US president Joe Biden, praising senator Marsha Blackburn for saying: “Radical left-wing lunatics want to make this absurdity normal”.

Jenner, who herself has previously spoken out about not judging her fellow trans women by how they look, retweeted Blackburn, writing: “Thank you for speaking out and having a backbone – one of the best senators we have. Let’s not ‘normalise’ any of what this person is doing. This is absurdity!”

She then replied to a commenter that asked her to ‘delete this hateful tweet’, misgendering Mulvaney and writing: “[She] is talking about [her] penis!”

After multiple people pulled up Caitlyn Jenner on her mistake, she wrote: “I have never received more death threats… than this week. It is all from the so called ‘inclusive’ LGBT community.”

One individual replied: “That’s too bad – but perhaps you should reconsider your message. You don’t represent your own community and you support those intent on taking away their rights.”

Jenner posted more tweets in which she expressed her outrage at the backlash she was receiving, redressing her anti-trans views as a difference of opinion.

“Since when is a different opinion grounds for such hatred and death wishes? Do better!” she tweeted, before adding: “Trying to shut me down by threatening my life over and over will never stop me from speaking my opinion.”

Caitlyn Jenner then took another swipe at the LGBTQ+ community, saying “being an outspoken common sense conservative in it is dangerous. The left has reached new levels of violence and intolerance”.

Various commenters have pointed out Jenner’s continued support of the Republican Party – which recently moved forward with multiple state legislatures across the US that contained anti-trans bills – indicates she is not supportive of her own community.
