Joanna Newsom has announced a residency at Hollywood Forever’s Masonic Lodge in Los Angeles—her first headline shows since early 2020. She will play new and old material across four nights this May, dubbed the Strings/Keys Reincidence. There is an additional matinée show, on May 18, reserved for “little ones and their keepers,” according to a press release, which notes that the policy is “as ironclad as it is unenforceable!” Check out the dates below.

Newsom returned to the stage last March with a surprise support slot for Fleet Foxes, where she debuted new music; that aside, news on a follow-up to 2015’s Divers remains scarce. Newsom is also set to appear at an all-ages festival this May, Salt Lake City’s Kilby Block Party.
