If it you missed its initial run or simply want to relive the magic, Guillermo del Toro‘s Frankenstein is returning to the big screen.

The one-week theatrical engagement kicks off tomorrow, January 16. Tickets are on sale now.

The lauded adaptation of Mary Shelley‘s genre-defining 1818 horror novel will play on 35mm at the Paris Theater in New York City and The Egyptian Theatre in Los Angeles.

Additional DCP screenings are set for Chicago, Dallas, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Washington DC, Boston, San Francisco, Seattle, Orlando, and Springfield, VT.

Del Toro is expected to appear at the TCL Chinese IMAX in Hollywood for a screening and Q&A, although details have yet to be confirmed.

In the film, brilliant but egotistical scientist Victor Frankenstein brings a creature to life in a monstrous experiment that ultimately leads to the undoing of both the creator and his tragic creation.

Oscar Isaac, Jacob Elordi, Mia Goth, Christoph Waltz, Felix Kammerer, Lars Mikkelsen, David Bradley, Christian Convery, and Charles Dance star.

Meagan Navarrowrote in her review,“Frankenstein is absolutely breathtaking, with imagery and set pieces that instantly embed themselves in your memory. It showcases del Toro’s strength as a filmmaker, creating immersive worlds that enhance what he does best: championing monsters and their tragic humanity instead of using them to scare us.”

Frankenstein recently won Critics Choice Awards for Best Supporting Actor, Best Production Design, Best Costume Design, and Best Hair & Makeup.
