90 Day Fiancé fans accused Paola of being entirely in charge of her marriage. Soap Dirt reported that one fan commented that she makes Russ do ”the stupidest things” in response to a video Paola shared of the couple doing yoga together to symbolically balance themselves and their historically rocky relationship out. Though Paola and Russ are projecting a united front, fans have called into question if their marriage is truly on solid ground after years of drama. Paola, who has over a million followers on Instagram, has openly declared herself the breadwinner in the family. Fans of the franchise saw how Russ losing his job affected their marriage in the past and according to Paola, she is currently the sole provider for the family of three. This, along with photos of Russ posing alongside Paola, has led to some fans speculating that Russ is forced to play along in the role of happy husband while serving Paola. However, the couple has given no indication that these rumors are accurate or that they have problems with Paola being the sole provider.
The couple does appear to enjoy working out together, which Paola documents on her Instagram account. They have recently been sharing many photos of themselves in the gym together. ”We have been eating a lot and training like a beast!” Paola wrote this week, adding that the couple is working on striking a balance through yoga. The mother of one also shared a video of her doing jiu-jitsu, as well as other exercises and fitness results.
