KUWTK: Fans React To Kylie Jenner’s Surprising New IG Post In Spanish

Movies

Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kylie Jenner surprised the fans with a new post on Instagram that has a caption in Spanish. It’s 2021, and Kylie is officially the most-followed person in the entire Kardashian-Jenner family. At this point in time, she has even surpassed older sister Kim Kardashian in number of followers, despite the fact that Kim has always been the most famous person in the family. There’s an entire new generation that has fully embraced Kylie, her personal life, and her business endeavors.

Unfortunately, Kim Kardashian is now facing divorce rumors with Kanye West, which means that she is making headlines, but for very upsetting news. Meanwhile, Kylie Jenner is keeping her cool and pushing forward not only in her personal life but also as a businesswoman. Unlike most of her siblings, she doesn’t have to rely on the reality show on E! that is ending this year, nor on the upcoming series that will stream on Hulu. She can instead focus on Kylie Cosmetics and on curating her online presence to a legion of fans.

Now, Kylie Jenner has shared new pictures on Instagram and even added a caption in Spanish to accompany the images. In one of the posts (seen below), Kylie wrote: “sol solecito calientame un poquito.” In English, this would translate to something like, “Sunny sun warm me up a little bit.” In the comments, the fans are reacting to this sudden post in Spanish, given that Kylie has never had any connection to the language. Many Spanish-speaking commenters praised Kylie on her usage of the language, happy to see the influencer using it. Some joked with things like “Oh is she Latina now?” and “I can finally understand a post without translating it.”

It’s safe to say that most Keeping Up With The Kardashians fans are happy or feel indifferent about Kylie Jenner’s new post featuring a caption in Spanish. Kylie has come under fire in the past for freely using words and images that represent a particular race, culture, or ethnicity. But this feels friendly and subdued enough, which shouldn’t spark that much criticism.

The fans are still waiting for the name and release date of the new Hulu show that will replace the long-running Keeping Up With The Kardashians series in 2021. For now, all we can do is keep an eye out for new updates on social media.
