Interview with 2FOUR

Celebrity News, Fashion, Gossip, Horror, Music

Hi 2 Four! Thanks for being here today!

Thank you for having me!

Is it harder to write or produce a song?

I’ve done both and both are fairly difficult but songwriting is a beast. There is a reason most mainstream songs have multiple writers and some of your favorites don’t even write. I think that’s what separates me from a lot of others because I’ve never had that luxury so it’s been all me in that department.

Do you ever experience writer’s block? What do you do to get over it?

Of course. I get over it easiest by just taking a break and doing something else. I don’t force it and I just let it come to me.

What is your musical background? Who or what got you into wanting to make music?

Initially, it was something I just enjoyed. When I was young I was in the school band and chorus so that’s when I first figured I had any talent. Then I got into writing poetry and that’s when I started to learn about the structure and putting stuff together. Then the rest was just me figuring it out and learning on my own.

What is your favorite thing about performing live shows?

When fans are into and liking the sound and vibing with you and becoming part of the experience especially ones who haven’t ever heard of you or hearing you for the first time. That’s a pretty great feeling.

Do you have a favorite song to perform or that you are looking to performing?

Not necessarily but my favorite is whatever song people like and react to the most. Ultimately, it’s all for the fans anyway.

What kind of music are you listening to right now?

I listen to all kinds any time really but right now I am just listening to my unreleased music and the music I am getting ready for release.

Do you listen to any podcasts that are related to music? If so, which ones?

I don’t actually because I usually use a podcast as a way to escape and decompress from the music so I’m listening to historical things and other subjects.

Do you like to collaborate with others? What is that process like?

I haven’t had the opportunity to collab really but that is something that I am looking to do more of in the upcoming future. It just has to be the right fit and make sense.

 What is next for you?

Well, this year I am taking it to another level so I have a bunch of things planned and going on so I am excited for my upcoming releases and all of the cool things coming up. This year will be the biggest one yet for my career and I am ready to get it going.
