Movies

While the world wonders if 90 Day Fiancé season 8 couple Mike Youngquist and Natalie Mordovtseva managed to get married, their storyline keeps moving at a snail’s pace. The TLC pair with their personalities as different as day and night featured in season 7 with an equally toxic scenario which had ended in Natalie throwing away Mike’s ring and accusing him of cheating. However, not only did Natalie shockingly return for another season, but she also became increasingly insulting of Mike, complaining about the slightest of inconveniences while continuing to play the broken record of him being unfaithful. But was it just Natalie’s nagging and selfish behavior that has made her 90 Day Fiancé season 8’s most disliked cast member?

The flack that Natalie got from 90 Day Fiancé viewers since then continues to oddly grow every time the Ukrainian actress posts anything online. The comments on Natalie’s Instagram posts, for instance, are often fans asking Mike’s wife-to-be to go back home, grow up, or get some class. When it’s not her photoshoots that are criticized, it’s Natalie’s cooking tutorials that tend to irritate 90 Day Fiancé fans, at times due to her cultural appropriation, and often due to her cooking with fish while claiming to be a vegetarian. Mike, however, mostly gets thirsty messages asking him to marry them instead and dump Natalie, thus showing how most of the 90 Day Fiancé community has picked its side.

The problem with Natalie appears to have started in season 8 with her throwing Uncle Bojangles out of Mike’s farm, even before she got there. Being a fan-favorite since Day 1 due to his eccentric personality, Uncle Beau’s exit thanks to Natalie was a severe no-no to fans. Upon reaching Sequim, Natalie started complaining about how cold it is in Mike’s town, while also calling his house small, his French toast unhealthy, and his dissing him for drinking beer and eating meat. The 90 Day Fiancé couple has their most major fight when Natalie accused Mike along with his ex-wife of being low class and claimed he didn’t have a high IQ like hers because of him not having visited museums. Furthermore, Natalie’s scissor tongue continued insulting Mike by again blaming him for cheating on her with his bestie, as she claimed he wasn’t as beautiful as her.

However, could there be more that’s caused 90 Day Fiancé fans to declare Natalie as the season 8 villain? Many fans have observed that although Natalie was all about wanting a baby in season 7, she could be dating him now just to get pregnant. It’s also Natalie’s extremely erratic and emotional behavior that makes her go from sweet to a tantrum-throwing diva instantly which fans disapprove of. Natalie is said to be passive-aggressive for not dealing with her problems with Mike in a reasonable way. Add to that the controlling demeanor which the 90 Day Fiancé star displays from time to time by getting Mike to behave or do things as she wants, even though fans had seen Natalie struggle to say that she loved him.

However, recent episodes have earned Natalie a fair bit of sympathy with many accepting that Mike, too, is to blame for their loveless 90 Day Fiancé relationship. With his love wearing away due to Natalie’s attitude, Mike is being blamed for being manipulative, emotionally unavailable, and using her as his partner claims, “a toy.” However, 90 Day Fiancé does at times surprise fans by showing how the most hopeless relationships are the ones who last. Who knows? Maybe it will be Natalie walking away with the accolades and Mike tied around her finger by the time season 8 sees its end.
