Horror

As previously reported, “Stranger Things 4” has been split up into two separate volumes, with “Volume 1” (read our review) premiering over the long holiday weekend. All seven episodes of the new season’s first Volume are now available for streaming, and “Volume 2” will be bringing the final two episodes of Season 4 to Netflix later this summer, on July 1, 2022.

Yes, we’re only getting two episodes in “Volume 2,” but the good news there is that they’re massive in scope, with the “Stranger Things 4” series finale alone running over 2 hours long!

Finishing “Volume 1” on Netflix unlocks a short teaser trailer for “Stranger Things 4” Volume 2, which you can check out below while we wait for a longer trailer for the final episodes.

Obviously, avoid this video if you haven’t yet finished “Volume 1”!

Meagan Navarro writes in her “Volume 1” review for BD, “As of now, season four zips along through thrilling set pieces and wildly different story arcs at a rapid enough clip to keep you entertained and invested, even as you begin to feel the immense weight of its ever-growing mythology and repeating patterns.” Stay tuned for Meagan’s “Volume 2” thoughts real soon.

Here’s the official plot synopsis for Season 4…

“It’s been six months since the Battle of Starcourt, which brought terror and destruction to Hawkins. Struggling with the aftermath, our group of friends are separated for the first time – and navigating the complexities of high school hasn’t made things any easier.

“In this most vulnerable time, a new and horrifying supernatural threat surfaces, presenting a gruesome mystery that, if solved, might finally put an end to the horrors of the Upside Down.”
