Review: Lil Prince Charmin “Lil Get It”…A Phenomenon in the Making

Cover Story, Music

The most positive phenomena to emerge as an artist, producer, editor, mixer, dancer, entertainer, animator, creative force…..and he’s 12 years old. The New Orleans recording artist has been sharing his talent since he was 3 years old. His dedication is unheard of and his energy goes beyond.

On a mission to becoming known globally as the positive vibe needed for our youth today and bringing chivalry back, Lil Prince Charmin is quickly seeping into the hearts of humanity. A natural and powerful storyteller “Lil Get It” showcases his emotionally evocative vocals. He stands confident, knows his own worth, and doesn’t surrender himself to the cages of other’s expectations. He has the wisdom of no escape.

He has embraced the dynamics of Michael Jackson and James Brown as his influences, but has made his own music his own story. Some people are born with a gift and Lil Prince Charmin is just one of those people. “Lil Get It” is happy and fun and a great influence to the youth today in a complicated and confusing world. His rap is polite. It doesn’t curse, it doesn’t complain, it doesn’t speak of negativity. It’s soft spoken, it’s bouncy, it says what it has to without being offensive.

His hit song “I Like It When She Go (Bop)” has hit the airwaves all the way to Africa. He has opened for Tamar Braxton, and Boosie Badazz and has teamed up with DJ Spin, Alvin Juggie McMillan Jr., Baby Boy da Prince and others, and has had the iconic  Bootsy Collins as his mentor who has featured him as a performer at the James Brown birthday bash in Augusta, Georgia.  His Halloween single “Str8 Outta  Candy” hit YouTube running.

The future smiles on Lil Prince Charmin’ and he has no intention of ever stopping or slowing down. His attitude and mentality grants his the ability to tackle anything and pursue his dreams…..
