The Hunting Party: Jamie Chung’s Addictive Performance? It’s Worth a Sneak Peek

One of the ways that The Hunting Party Season 2 has improved is by bringing on well-known guest stars.

It’s allowed viewers to watch their favorites portray chilling serial killers, and many have looked forward to seeing Jamie Chung in this role, since it differs from what she’s known for.

Chung plays Nancy Albright, a woman who struggles with drug addiction and then gets the same type of high from murdering people she dates.

While we’ve seen similar cases, this is a totally new twist, and Chung brings her A-game.

After she escapes from the Pit in that initial explosion, she’s looking to find that kind of high again, meaning that her therapy in the Pit didn’t work as expected.

It rarely does.

TV Fanatic scored an exclusive clip for The Hunting Party Season 2 Episode 12, detailing Nancy’s Pit treatment, and it’s a doozy.

Nancy appears to be going through withdrawal and is willing to do almost anything to score more drugs.

If she weren’t a murderer, I’d almost feel sorry for her, since Chung plays the role beautifully, making Nancy sound desperate and pitiful as she begs.

Addiction is difficult to cure, and Nancy’s addiction started years ago when she moved from drugs to killing people because murder gave her an extra thrill.

The Pit tried something new with Nancy, involving bargaining with her to talk and promising her meds, which they never really followed through on since they tried an experimental method instead.

This caused the trio to disagree and made Shane extremely uncomfortable, likely because of his mother.

We know it didn’t work because she’s out there murdering people and getting high again.

Their permanent fix to stop addiction was only temporary and likely only fueled her anger.

You’ll have to watch the clip below to learn the entire twisty therapy methods and the trio’s reactions.

While the team is busy chasing down Nancy Albright, we also wonder how Morales’ information about Peck will change things at the command center.

With The Hunting Party Season 2 winding down, we’ve seen some moments where Morales and Peck grew closer, so his betrayal will hurt her the most.

I want to believe that he merely followed Col. Lazarus’s orders, though that does not excuse killing someone.

Things are likely to get ugly in the next two episodes as everyone picks sides, since the finale will likely feature casualties.

While you wait to watch what this episode has to offer, make sure to check out the sneak peek below.

We’ll be back with a complete review after the episode airs.
