The Wild & Out star’s remarks about his Mother’s Day plans come after he raised eyebrows over the dating rules he has for his 15-year-old daughter.
In fact, Nick—who shares daughterMonroe and son Moroccan with ex-wife Mariah Carey—admitted he doesn’t give his daughter quite as much freedom when it comes to dating as her twin brother.
“My son has been dating,” he shared on The TMZ Podcast, “and I’ve allowed it, I encouraged it.”
As for whether he gives his daughter Monroe the same treatment, the TV personality bluntly replied, “No, absolutely not.”
“First of all, it’s absolutely a double standard,” Nick admitted, “and I know I get in trouble a lot ’cause I say things with my chest. But there is a difference when parenting a son and then when parenting a daughter.”
