Days of Our Lives: Hollys Story Doesnt Work Without Nicole

Days of Our Lives: Hollys Story Doesnt Work Without Nicole
Television

I don’t know why Days of Our Lives would write such an important story about Holly Jonas without involving Nicole or Eric.

No, Nicole’s off-screen visit does not count. I’m aware that Arianne Zucker left the soap opera on bad terms.

However, I had hoped Peacock would have reached out to her to arrange a short-term role if they were writing a leading story about her on-screen daughter.

Holly may be an adult, but she’s still young enough to need her mother when she’s feeling scared and alone.

This Days of Our Lives story has infuriated me because almost every one of Holly’s family members has turned against her.

It was because of EJ that she had arsenic and Coriseal in her system because of contaminated water.

EJ has always been calculating and vicious, but he has a soft spot for Holly, so it saddened me that he wouldn’t come forward to save her.

He spent lots of time comforting her and trying to reassure her that he believed that she didn’t abuse drugs.

(Peacock/Screenshot)

Of course he did because he was the culprit, and he’d do anything to save his own skin, including throwing his former stepdaughter under the bus.

I’ve always enjoyed Sarah’s relationship with Holly. She used to always support her niece.

But it’s irritated me that she won’t listen to Holly without proof, even though she, Brady, and Xander were initially ready to nail EJ.

It’s like Sarah and Brady became defeated, lost their minds, and fell prey to EJ’s game. I don’t blame Holly for turning on Sarah.

(Peacock/Screenshot)

It’s disappointing that the only person who wants to believe in Holly is Xander, and Brady and Sarah want him to turn on her, too. Right now the only goal is to get her to confess.

That grates on me, and it’s why she needs her mother and Eric. Nicole would understand her daughter.

She made her share of mistakes and was misjudged when she was actually innocent.

Nicole would stand by Holly and demand that Brady get answers before accusing Holly of taking drugs again.

If Nicole even thought EJ poisoned her daughter, even accidentally, she wouldn’t rest. She and Xander would actually be on the same page for once.

Nicole has an animated conversation on Days of Our Lives.

Holly’s story also needs Eric. Eric used to take drugs too, so he would be able to see through Holly better than anyone.

He would be able to decipher that she was telling the truth and demand that Aunt Kayla take over Holly’s case.

It’s just another time where family should not be treating their own, and I realize that’s challenging with only Kayla and Sarah practicing medicine. But it’s a constant gripe.

I’ll be disappointed and angry if someone doesn’t figure out the truth and Holly’s exit involves sending her to rehab.

(Peacock/Screenshot)

I actually like her and Tate, but hopefully her upcoming exit involves moving in with her mother and Eric in France.

Holly needs to put some space between Salem and the family who doesn’t trust her.

Over to you, Days of Our Fanatics. Do you think Holly’s story is failing without Nicole? Should she follow her mother to Paris as her exit?
