Sha’Carri Richardson knows the ultimate accessory to help lap the competition.
So, of course, the track and field sprinter decided to share the goods with Serena Williams and husband Alexis Ohanian’s daughters Olympia, 9, and Adira, 3, presenting the girls with silver limited-edition Nike bags on the red carpet at the Athlos Track & Field Event at London’s StoneX Stadium Sept. 18.
“Can we be twins?” Richardson asked Olympia and Adira in footage shared on social media. “Can we be triplets?”
The gesture was especially touching for Ohanian, who watched on as Richardson and Olympia shared a sweet moment at the all-female track-and-field event.
As for Williams, the tennis icon has found that life as an athlete has influenced how she raises her children. She’s specifically tried to instill a spirit of kindness in her eldest, which she believes starts with being gentle toward oneself.
