John Blaze Brings Music, Monsters and Mayhem to My Father’s Place in Roslyn, New York, on October 31
ROSLYN, NY — October 31, 2026 — This Halloween, the dead aren’t staying buried.
Writer and producer John Blaze, the creative force behind Scarecrow, is bringing a new kind of Halloween celebration to Long Island with The Dead Dance Ball, a live rock ’n’ roll spectacle making its debut Halloween night at the legendary My Father’s Place in Roslyn, New York.
Part concert, part costume party and part theatrical descent into Halloween madness, The Dead Dance Ball invites audiences into a world where the music is loud, the creatures come out after dark and nobody leaves the dance floor until the final note.
The evening will be packed with classic Halloween-themed live music, outrageous costumes, dancing and unexpected surprises designed to turn October 31 into something far bigger than the usual Halloween party.
Guests are encouraged to arrive in costume and become part of the spectacle. Monsters, ghosts, vampires, rockers and creatures of every kind are welcome. At The Dead Dance Ball, watching from the sidelines simply isn’t the idea.
Blaze will command the evening as Master of Ceremonies, joined by Musical Director Paul Ranieri of Mark Wood, with featured vocalists Hanz of Hazel Gaze and Paul Mahos of New Life Crisis.
Together, they’ll bring a theatrical rock soundtrack to a night designed around the wild, rebellious spirit of Halloween.
With live music at its center and horror, theater and nightlife colliding around it, The Dead Dance Ball promises to transform My Father’s Place into a playground for the living and the dead.
